There are no boundaries One day I got bored, so I came up with these:
...and I was just debating to myself on the titles. Of course in a fit of a hurry, I settled for the title "Two Become One" A and B (since they were pretty much the same shot, just with slightly different compositions and lighting balance) but I still did wonder if they should have been titled something else.
Like I said in my Deviant description, a couple of alternative titles that I considered were: 1) Love built on (the foundation of) His Word 2) Three-fold Chord
other cheesier titled were stuff like "Two rings, one heart" and "two rings, one soulmate" etc etc but yes, I decided the working title (Two Become One) was a less cheesy fit.
I am still wondering if I should change it though... wondering also if there could have been a better title... Note: All designs have been copyrighted

I'm not sure if he intended it to be seen this way, because the descriptive he gives is that this is nothing more than a shot of a man's hands craddling broken glass - but to me, the broken glass is showing something more than just shards, which was what i needed to know - do you see it? I am so tempted... but if I do, i may not make it through December, and I definitely won't have money for any more presents... (actually I already don't with the number of November birthdays I've chipped in for *sad*) Really need one though... my current iPod Nano has officially screamed in protest that it is still working 3.5 years later (now the batt won't even last 2 hours) I suppose it's expected since it's the first 2GB generation Nano... haiz...

Zi Qian's ring made me ponder a bit on Rose Gold (I had no idea what it was.) So in my curiosity, I went to google and and got the following images. They're absolutely gorgeous! (not to mention un-conventional. hee.)

It Won't Hold Me Down Friends. They're not just any random bunch of people you come across in your life, say hi to, have a meal or two with, and then add on your Facebook.
That group of people can be more accurately categorized as 'acquaintances' or 'associates'.
See, by the social code of modern society, associates and acquaintances are people you needn't care for; people whom you do not feel a strong bond or inclination towards, and whose lives matter little to you, or not at all - unless it affects you directly. They are the people you don't strive so hard to tolerate, or maintain relations with, and whose problems only give cause for your irritation - but that's just what the world thinks.
From the above, it is not too foolish to observe and conclude thus, how myopic and self-centered that world system is; it promotes intolerance, concentration on self-benefit - everything running antithesis to values such as altruism, selflessness, generosity, love, conciliation, kindness... - things that would make a huge difference in the world (and maybe, even if they don't solve large ticket world issues like poverty and starvation immediately, they may at least put the market of anti-depressants out of a job =p)
It's an age old idea, but one still in its infancy because capitalism ran it aground - how many of us would, even just for 15 minutes a day, inconvenience ourselves to meet someone else's need? Willingly! Not grudgingly, nor out of obligation. There is no obligation in this. This is a free-will decision. It needn't be a big thing, it could even be as simple as helping them return a book to the library, or getting someone a drink.
But I digress...

.. is over. A new (and no doubt fantabulously exciting) chapter unfurls... Felt a sudden desire to get my doodles ( Rose-wound Cross, and Winged Rose & Cross) printed onto a hoody/sweater/jacket/tank top/baby tee/t shirt, etc (of course, after I colour them up and stuff) - does anyone know anywhere I can get that done nicely for a low price? I'm not talking about the baggy class t shirts types... but something nicer and more stylish - suggestions anyone? I might edit this entry later today - it all depends on whether I have time - but all that's important to note now (before I doze off) is that I had a great time with the choir peeps today. Everyone's really improved in terms of singing capabilities (a little more practice and effort to blend and I'm sure we'll be great!); had so much fun after prac while waiting for the guys to come out. tee hee.
Clarice: I so love singing with you! You're one of the few people I can actually blend very nicely with *hearts!*
Performance choir on the chinese song, one word: Fantastic. =D And no, I'm not biased cuz I'm not in it, so it's really quite a reliably objective opinion. =D
